Studysphere Academy — Est. Cohort 001

Mastery isn't taught. It's drafted, then built.

Studysphere is a project-based academy for people who want proof, not certificates. Every skill is broken into modules, every module into a build — reviewed by mentors who've shipped the real thing.

Philosophy

Three principles, no exceptions.

Most courses optimize for completion. We optimize for the moment a skill becomes reliable under pressure.

Build, don't watch

No lecture exceeds twelve minutes. Everything past that is a project brief with a deadline and a reviewer.

Feedback within 48h

A mentor who has shipped the skill you're learning reviews every submission — line notes, not letter grades.

The floor rises with you

Each module locks the last one's standard in. You can't pass a build sloppier than the one before it.

Curriculum

The Systems Design track, module by module.

One of six live tracks. Each module is a real build reviewed against a fixed rubric before you advance.

FIG. 01 — MASTERY PATHSYSTEMS DESIGN TRACK
01 Wk 1–2

Foundations & Failure Modes

Design a small system on paper, then break it on purpose. You'll leave knowing exactly where your assumptions were wrong.

Build · Reviewed
02 Wk 3–4

Interfaces & Contracts

Define the boundary between two components before either exists. Your contract gets implemented by a partner cohort — sight unseen.

Pair Build
03 Wk 5–7

Load, Latency & Limits

Take a working system and find where it bends. Instrument it, load-test it, and rebuild the part that gives way first.

Build · Reviewed
04 Wk 8–9

Migrations Without Downtime

Ship a breaking change to a live system with users on it. The rubric only cares whether anyone noticed.

Live Simulation
05 Wk 10

The Postmortem

You'll be handed a system that failed in production. Diagnose it, write the postmortem, and propose the fix — in that order.

Case Study
FIN Wk 11–14

Final Build: Design a System From Scratch

Solo project, mentor-reviewed twice, defended in a 30-minute review panel. This is what goes in your portfolio.

Mentors

Reviewed by people who've shipped it.

Every mentor still works in the field they teach. No career instructors — only practitioners on a teaching rotation.

Assessment before enrollment. Always.

We start with a 20-minute diagnostic build, not a form. It tells us where your track begins — and tells you whether Studysphere is worth your 340 hours.
